1. Brief Introduction
The product described here is a line reactor, which is also called input reactor. It is an electrical equipment that could be added in front of the drive to protect the variable-frequency drive (hereinafter referred to as VFD) and other electrical appliance or important components from current surges and transients.
The three phase line reactor introduced is of 200A. It is applicable for a 75KW-VFD. The voltage could be 380V3P or 660V3P or it can be customized according to your needs. The material of the windings could be copper or aluminum. It depends on your own request.
A line reactor is an inductor, a coil of wire that forms a magnetic field as current flows through it. The magnetic field helps to reduce harmonics generated by current surge and current distortion and helps to avoid overvoltage tripping.
