4. AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR WORKING THEORY
When the grid voltage fluctuates or changes, the control sampling circuit of the automatic voltage regulator would send out a signal to the servo motor, and then the servo motor would drive the carbon brush to rotate along the surface of the copper coil. With the position change of the carbon brush, the voltage would be regulated to the voltage that you require.
5. PROTECTION FUNCTIONS OF AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR
Over-voltage protection: when the output voltage is higher than the certain figure set, the voltage regulator would send out a signal of over-voltage;
Under-voltage protection: when the output voltage is lower than the certain figure set, the voltage regulator would send out a signal of over-voltage;
Over-current protection: if the load current is larger than the rated working current, the voltage regulator would power off automatically to protect the AVR from being damaged;
Over-load protection: if the load is beyond the rated capacity, the voltage stabilizer would stop work automatically.
